Membership levels remain unchanged in Castrol Star Bandhan 2008. As before, the Program offers three membership levels: 3-Star, 4-Star and 5-Star. Your membership level at the beginning of the year is based on your membership level achieved in 2007. New members will get enrolled into the Program on purchasing 1300 litres during the Calendar Year 2008.

Upgradation of Membership
Your membership will be upgraded to the next level at the end of each quarter, as per the following chart:
 
   
 
Base points will be awarded from Jan' 08 onwards, with retrospective benefit
Downgrade of membership will be done quarterly, at the end of Q1, Q2, Q3 & Q4 as follows:
   • 4-Star to 3-Star: purchase is < 1500 litres in Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4
   • 5-Star to 4-Star: purchase is< 3000 litres in Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4
